Introduction:  What is the most urgent need of man? The Bible says a soul is worth more than the whole universe. The gospel is essential in our lives, and it is a key to success in life.

1. The gospel of Salvation is the most urgent need for everyone. We may think that money is the most urgent need in our life. Romans 1 talks that we all are sinners, and under the condemnation of God. Thus, the most urgent need of human being is salvation. Salvation refers to being rescued from God’s wrath and judgment that we deserve.

2. The gospel is the power of God. The gospel is not merely information which describes the power of God, but it is the very power of God. We cannot transform ourselves…but the gospel has transformation power, thus the gospel can transform all our lives.

3. The righteousness of God is imputed to us. Since Jesus Christ took our sins on him, we are legally made righteous before God. God justifies us.

4. Salvation is by faith. The just shall live by faith. The key to enjoy God’s blessings, God’s goodness and to gain victory is “To live by faith.” When we walk by faith we see the glory of God.

Conclusion: We can’t change ourselves; only the gospel can changes us because it is the power of God. When we believe in the gospel, we receive power from God, and then we can achieve victory in life, and we live for God’s glory. Amen!
