Introduction: The Gospel of salvation is for all nations (Matthew 28:19-20), will be preached from Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to all nations (Acts 1:8). God wants all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (I Tim 2:4). Now God opens door of salvation for all nations.

1. We need to break down our prejudice so that God can work through us. Peter prejudice-Israel is God's chosen, holy, special people, the covenant people. Gentiles were considered as second class (for some extreme-Gentile dogs); see also John 4. But, God breaks down Peter's prejudice and use him for His glory.

2. Salvation is neither based on nationally nor good works, but on God's grace. God has no partiality. He loves everyone. Cornelius' good work was accepted, but he was saved only by faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is solely grounded on the person and the work of Christ.

3. The Gentiles received salvation. After hearing the message about Jesus' salvation, they were saved; they received the pouring of the Holy Spirit. They were baptized; they desired to know more and to grow in their faith.

Conclusion: We need to break down our prejudice, and walk humble before the Lord and to commit to do the work of God. We should share the gospel of salvation. After being saved, we need to have a great desire to grow in faith; a great desire to experience God's glory and blessings. Amen!
