Introduction Today is Father's Day. To honor our father (parents) is one of the 10 commandments; and it is a way of blessings. If you make your father happy, that is your long-life blessings. Who is the father?

1. A godly father loves God (Matthew 6:33).

2. A godly father love his wife and children (Ephesus 5:23; Col. 3:21).

3. The father is the one who has integrity (Proverbs 20:7)

4. The father is the provider of the family (I Tim. 5:8)

5. The father is the protector of the family (Gen 26:6-11)

6. The father is the one who teaches and leads the family into godly

ways (Joshua 24:15; Deut. 6:6)

7. The father is God's appointed-source of blessing (Jacob and Esau).

Conclusion: Many of our fathers are still alive. Let us make them happy. Because our father raised up till now out of their love. Let us respect our father with the bottom of our heart and this is a way to receive God's blessing. Amen!
