Introduction: It might be easy to praise God when everything is going good. But it is difficult to praise God in times of troubles. However, the Bible teaches us to praise God in times of trouble.

1. Trouble is a test or a stair to go up. Everyone can face hardship. James encourages us to consider trial as so
   mething to be happy or joyful (James 1:2). Here in Acts 16, Paul and Silas were in trouble, the purpose is for God’s glory. Praise God and let your hardship turn for God’s glory.

2. God is in control of our troubles. The battle is not yours but God’s (II Chron. 20:15). When we face trouble, we try to solve by ourselves and in our own ways. But the result become worse, one problem is followed by another.(e.g. King David). But trust God that Jesus is the solution of your problem, the battle is the Lord’s.

3. Praising God is a powerful key to overcome problem. King Jehoshaphat and Israel praise (barak) the Lord and won the battle. Paul and Silas did the same thing and the Jailer’s family became saved. Praise brings victory and blessings to you & glory to God. Amen!!!!
