Introduction: 276 people (including Paul) were swept through by the storm for 14 days. But God controls and directs the storm. He saves the lives of 276 from the peril of a deadly storm. And the people see God’s faithfulness and His glory. In times of trouble and difficulties we may have doubt “Where are you, God?” In fact, God is not only in control in a good time, but He is also in control in a difficult time.

1. God is directing the storm to fulfill His plan and to give you greater blessings. There are times, God calms down storm of your life as Jesus did. But there are also times God, allows the storm to blow you to a place where He wanted to take you. That is a place of greater blessing and a greater influence. God did not remove or quench the fire for 3 young men, but He brought them through fire for His glory. Remember God is in control of the storms of your life.

2. God is leading us to spiritual growth through the storm. By undergoing through the storms of life, we can practically experience the faithfulness and goodness of God. By this experience, we become stronger and mature.

3.  Keep trusting in the Lord. If we know that God is in control of the storm, we should not worry and fear continually. We must stop worrying, stop fearing, stop fighting, stop making any afford. But rather we just need to relinquish control. Let the storm take you where God wants you to go. Don’t worry; the battle is the LORD’s.

Conclusion: The storm will not stop you to reach your destiny. God is in control; therefore it will lead you to spiritual growth, to greater blessing and to see God’s glory. Amen!
