Introduction: When things happen in a bad way or in a way we didn't expect, we are desperate. For the children of God, even in times of trouble, God has still the best plan for us. If you lost a good opportunity, don't be upset. God has a greater and a better plan for you.

1. Be faithful to God, God will accomplish his great plan for you. Paul was always faithful to Jesus, give the true testimony of Jesus' salvation. Even though he faithfully preached the gospel, these people didn't convert, rather they becomes Paul's enemies. Like Paul, if we are faithful to God, He will accomplish His purpose.

2. God's plan for you is to prosper you, and to glorify God. God's purpose for Paul is to testify Jesus not only in the many Gentile cities, but also in Rome and to the royal families. So that all the nations will come to know the knowledge of Jesus Christ. For God's children, God's purpose is to prosper you, to give you hope and future, & that plan will glorify God.

Conclusion: In times of trouble, Jesus always stands with you, and said "be very courageous!" How can you have courage in trouble…? Know that God has the best plan you, and you are in God's hand. We need to be faithful to God in every circumstance. God will do a great thing in your life. God bless you!
