Introduction:  The purpose of Christmas is to bring peace, joy and salvation to all human beings.

1. The first good news of Christmas is “Do not be afraid.” (10).We might have many things/reasons to be afraid and worry, but the coming of Jesus Christ assures us not to be afraid. Why we should not worry? Because Jesus Christ is given to us—he is able to help us in all our troubles.

2. Christ, the prince of peace is born to us. Jesus came to this world to bring peace. Peace—peace with God (Romans 5:1, peace with God by faith), peace with soul (Phi.4:6), and peace with others (Rom. 12:18).

Conclusion: Let us prepare our hearts for the LORD and let us receive the gift of Christmas—salvation, peace, victory and blessings of God, Amen!
