Forget not all His Blessings

Psalm 103:1-5

Introduction: We are very much forgetful about good things done to us by others. We are forgetful to count God’s blessings but we always think of our troubles. This Psalm of David reminds us not to forget,] God’s blessing & encourages us to remember all the benefits we received from God.

  1. Forget not his forgiveness (v.3). King David committed adultery and murder; terrible sins. But when he approached to God with a broken heart, he enjoyed God’s forgiveness—how deep & how sweet. We should not forget how God has forgiven us.

  2. Forget not his healing (v.3). God is the one who heals your soul, your mind and your body. Let us not forget God’s healing and continually experience his healing.

  3. Forget not his redemption (v.4). God redeemed David from the pit of death, the pit of low status, poverty, and the pit of disease. The people of Israel experienced the mighty redemption of God several times, but always forgot it and turned to idol-worship. God is the one who raised us out of the dust and made us sit with the nobles and princes.

  4. Forget not the crown (v. 4). God crowned you with love and compassion. You are the most VIP because you are the one who fully receive the love and compassion of God. You are the master piece of God.

  5. Forget not all good things/blessings (v.5). Let us not all good things we enjoy from God and all his blessings.

Conclusion:  God is always good and faithful to us. We can’t give God a big thing, but let’s always give thanks to the LORD. We will see His glory & experience His Blessings. Amen!
