Introduction: it is very important to remember what God has done for us and to keep trusting in the Lord in ups and downs of your life.

 

1. Monument is a symbol of witness for God's glory. Abraham, Jacob, Joshua, Samuel and some others did memorial stones for God's glory. It is important to elevate your mind and soul to erect memorial stones. It is a witness of God's doing both to you and others.

 

2. Do not forget who the Lord is and what God has done for us. Samuel says "thus far, God has helped us." "Thus far" means from the very beginning to till now. Psalm 103 commands us, "Forget not all his benefits…" In times of trouble our mind is controlled by situation. Let us overcome by it faith by remembering what the Lord did & can do.

 

3. Keep trusting in the Lord. This monument is a reminder how God has delivered us from all kinds of difficulties and problems, and God will continue to bring us in victory if we choose to trust in the LORD.
