Introduction: God’s purpose for salvation is (not merely) to deliver us from eternal Hell, but it is (more) to live for His glory. “From what God has saved us” is important, but “for what God has saved us” is more important.

1. Consider yourselves dead to sin (11-13). Jesus Christ took our sins and died on the cross. With Jesus Christ we also died to sin, and in Jesus’ resurrection we also resurrected into a new life. Therefore, we should not ourselves (or) parts of our body for an instrument of evil.

2. Live in Jesus Christ (13-14). Christian life is a Christ-centered life. We needs to allow Jesus Christ work in our lives. Jesus must be the lord and the head of our lives. He is also the driver of our lives (not the follower of us). As long as Jesus drives your lives you won’t get accident; and everything will be going well with you.

3. Live under grace (15). God’s grace is not a license to do sin. Grace is a free gift which we do not deserve. Living under grace means to live in righteousness and in the light of the Bible.

Conclusion: God is faithful and gracious to us. We must have a sense of gratitude and thanksgiving to God. We need to offer ourselves for God’s glory. Amen!
