Introduction: Everyone has 24 hours a day. How do we spend our time, is it worth or meaningful? How do we measure life? Albert Einstein said "try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value." Solomon said that everything is meaningless, empty and vain without God; God is the meaning of life. Paul lived a meaningful live for God's glory.

1. The city of Corinth. It is evil, idolatrous, immoral, temple-prostitute (Worshipping Aphrodite), but it is a prosperous commercial city. God wants this huge number of Corinthians to be saved.

2. A missionary is ready to be self-support in particular condition. Paul made tents with Aquila and Priscilla. Paul influenced people even in work area. We are called to influence people and bring them to Christ.

3. God's promises to Paul. "Do not be afraid." Paul had certain reasons to be afraid but God always gave him courage and joy in the LORD's work. "Keep preaching."God wanted Paul to keep doing His work strongly. "I am with you." If God is with us who can against us. God's presence means victory, peace and joy. "No one will harm you." God's protection is with Paul and with us also.

4. Paul lived for God's glory. For Paul, preaching the Word of God, and to do the will of God is all the point of living in this world-that is a meaningful life. Amen!
